My life with the Airedales started when Maša and Matej Feguš gave us an Airedale terrier Tommy. 6 years old Tom had no problem with starting a new life in a house with a big yard only for him. That gave us great opportunities to learn about his characteristics and the breed in general. Because of his kindness and high intelligence I decided to buy a puppy. I took if from the »Shadow of Aire« kennel.
Mom Era (Shadow of Aire Extravaganza) was is the most successful Slovenian show bitch of the breed. And also father Fire (Shadow of Aire Open Fire) has plenty great show results, as he is following the steps of his father Tommy.As a pup, little Venny was already full of energy. She was the one who took over control in the breed. And till today that didn't change much.Socialization is very important for puppies of this age. And she was very good at it. That is the main reason I was able to begin very early with upbringing and latter with teaching. With 7 months we visited the Cynologic association Krim were we started with Junior class. There I got acquainted with ways how to get through dog s puberty life. In the fall we started to attend B-BH lessons. This class extents obedience and free guidable with final exam, which we successfully finished. By the age of 10 months we began with Agility lessons. Today we compete in category A1 Large.
I like to spend my free time as active as possibly. I enrolled her in the Rally Obedience. Venny is enjoying on this RO lessons almost as much as she enjoys running agility. She is not only intelligent, but also beautiful substantiate as shown by the results from show rings. Till now we have received the titles for Slovenian Junior CH, Slovenian Junior Club CH 2007 and Croatian Junior CH. From the beginning, my life has been connected with dogs. I enjoy their company very much, because every day they come up with a new crazy idea.
I spent my childhood with two amazing and extremely friendly dogs; English Cocker Spaniel Donna, and her guardian angel German Shepherd Dog Oidip.
Later we enjoyed, for a short time the company of Bernese Mountain Dog Dion. Nowadays we can enjoy the company of two Airedales; Mr. Tommy and his most important granddaughter Venny.
